I just received notice from the Fulton County Superior Court that Judge Tusan has not yet decided the Board of Regents Application for “Supersedeas,” which is a “stay” or stopping of her order of December 30, 2016. As we have previously noted, that order goes into effect on Tuesday, January 10, 2017, unless she grants the Board of Regents Application.
The Board of Regents lawyers have also just informed me that they have just filed a “Emergency Motion for Supersedeas with Brief in Support” with the Georgia Court of Appeals, in anticipation of Judge Tusan not ruling on the pending Application prior to January 10, 2017. We will be filing our opposition to the Board of Regents “Emergency Motion” this evening. I am also waiting to hear back from the Board of Regents and their attorneys (the Attorney General) about whether they will comply with existing law and allow qualifying DACA students to pay in-state tuition on January 10, 2017, if neither Court grants their Application prior to the start of business tomorrow morning.
I will keep you updated on these points as soon as I have additional information.

I am loving how you're keeping us updated. I'm a DACA student holder, and my first day of class is tomorrow at Georgia Gwinnett College, but I'm in between of dropping the semester or not, I really hope we can pay in state tuition. I also messaged you guys on Facebook. Can't wait to hear more updates.
